Description:
Daniel dropped my art in his best friend’s hometown, a corner where there was an old artist decorating for kids.
I drew this art during my stay in Dusseldorf. Daniel and I had drawn a very similar one few years ago.
Reason for letting go:
I didn’t pay a lot of effort to draw this work, I questioned myself whether I was wasting a canvas.
Every work is the draft of the artist’s next artwork.

I drew this mirror art in 2025 with 2 of my friend and I took it to Dusseldorf with me. As a sudden trip to Brussels was arranged by Daniel, he took my mirror art there.
Reason for letting go:
Too fragile to bring it all the way back to Hong Kong, and I also want people to feel some positive energy when they see my work and themselves in reflection.
Sequel:
I received a message in french on 1 Aug on Instagram by saying that he took my chair. I was puzzled until he sent me my work. Realising that my work was put on an abandoned chair, I told him my story. Later on, Lorenzi , who texted my on Instagram, put my work somewhere on the street and told me that “It’s part of the culture now. And so are you.”

when I was staying in Dusseldorf last year, it was an unusual autumn with lot of pours. It was so cold to me, I didn’t bring enough clothes, but this city still melted my heart.
I drew some Suns, and now D is putting them everywhere before returning to HK.

Just want to leave my love behind at Dussy.
